A "New" CB750?

A "New" CB750?

By Dirck Edge

When Motorcycle News of England recently reported that Honda might manufacture a new bike identical to a 1969 CB750 (our Bike of the Century), we got pretty excited about it.

Nostalgia is a strange and powerful thing. It can make outdated technology seem fresh and exciting (MCN says the motor will be air cooled). More significantly, seeing and touching a machine that impressed you during your youth can bring back a flood of wonderful memories . . . every time you see it! We can't think of a bike more worthy of a modern, retro design than the 1969 Honda CB750. Here's hoping it comes true, and is shown at the Tokyo Motor Show this Fall.
