Honda mounted Alex Barros won his second 500 GP of the year at the German Grand Prix this afternoon. Barros had to pass Valentino Rossi (Honda) with two laps remaining, with Rossi finishing second and Kenny Roberts (Suzuki) finishing third.
Rossi had an incredible race, coming from a 16th place start to take the lead near the end before being re-passed by Barros.
Roberts increases his championship points’ lead to 38.
Yamaha’s Olivier Jacque took a wire-to-wire victory in the 250 class ahead of Honda mounted Tohru Ukawa in second and third place Shinya Nakano (Yamaha).
