Qualifying for tomorrow’s 250 GP in Budds Creek, Maryland was dominated by American riders, with Kevin Windam (Team Honda U.S.A.) and Robbie Reynard (Team Suzuki U.S.A.) first and second.
Mickael Pichon, now riding a Winfield – Suzuki on the GP circuit (having been fired by Honda U.S.A. a few months ago), qualified third with Sébastien Tortelli (Team Honda U.S.A.) a surprising fourth (surprising because he has not practiced or raced since a wrist injury approximately 2 months ago).
