Cycle News is reporting this week that Valentino Rossi has indeed signed with Honda to race its NSR500
in the 2000 500cc World Championship road racing Series. CN quotes Rossi as confirming Jeremy
Burgess will be his chief tuner. As we reported earlier, Burgess has worked for Mick Doohan for many
years, and this tends to fortify rumors that Doohan will in fact retire from racing.
