Biaggi Again Takes Pole at French GP

Yamaha’s Max Biaggi was quickest during qualifying for the French 500 GP this weekend. He set a new lap record to place himself ahead of teammate Carlos Checa, Honda’s Alex Barros and Suzuki’s Kenny Roberts on the front row of the grid. Biaggi took pole at the last round, as well, but failed to finish the race.

Honda’s Daijiro Katoh took pole for the 250 GP race.
