Nicky Hayden (Honda) won the AMA Superbike race again today (he won yesterday, as well) at Road America. In a close fought battle with Suzuki’s Aaron Yates and Mat Mladin, Hayden got to the line first with Mladin second and Yates third. Only one point separates Mladin and Hayden in the championship series, with Mladin having won three of the first five races, and Hayden the other two.
In 600 Supersport, Honda’s Miguel Duhamel drafted past everyone on the final straight to take the victory over teammate Kurtis Roberts. Third place went to Yamaha’s Jamie Hacking.
Roberts leads Duhamel in the 600 Supersport championship points’ race.
