We have written before about the trials and tribulations of former AMA Superbike Champion Ben Bostrom — as he fights the battle for the World Superbike Championship in Europe. Recently demoted from the factory Ducati team to the privateer NCR Ducati team, Bostrom has struggled to come to grips (sorry about the pun) with the Michelin tires (his success in the U.S. was on Dunlops — noted for their ability to slide predictably).
According to a report in Cycle News, Bostrom may be allowed to run Dunlop tires on the NCR team, even though NCR is normally supported by Michelin. This could really boost Bostrom’s confidence, and his performance. We will let you know if we hear anything further.
