Capirossi (500) and Waldmann (250) on Pole for Assen GP

In largely unpredictable weather, Honda’s Loris Capirossi was quickest and will start from pole in tomorrow’s 500 GP race at Assen. Reigning World Champion, Alex Criville (Honda) will start from second place on the grid, with Suzuki’s Kenny Roberts and Alexander Barros (Honda) filling out the front row of the grid.

Tomorrow’s 250 race will be run with Aprilia’s Ralf Waldmann on pole ahead of teammate Marco Melandri. The Yamaha’s of Shinya Nakano and Olivier Jacque fill out the front row of the 250 grid.
