Frequently looking like a round from last year’s British Superbike Championship, the Ducatis of Troy Bayliss and Neil Hodgson dominated WSB racing at Brands Hatch, England today. Bayliss won the opening race, while Hodgson finished a close second. Hodgson returned the favor to Bayliss in race two.
British Superbike regular Chris Walker finished third in race one on his Suzuki, while the Suzuki of Frankie Chili finished third in race two. The men leading the points’ chase, Honda’s Colin Edwards and Aprilia’s Troy Corser, each had a miserable day. Edwards finished 10/6, while Corser finished 6/DNF. Corser’s crash in race two did not result in any serious injuries, and Corser should be back racing at the next round.
