It still appears that Kawasaki is developing a retro-styled ZRX1200 for the 2001 model year, but recent reports indicate the motor may be a bored (and stroked?) version of the old ZX-11 motor, rather than the ZX-12R motor. Different styling may be available, as well, including a more modern bikini fairing (similar to the new Bandit 1200 fairing).
