Ricky Carmichael again dominated the AMA 250 Outdoor National motocross round held today in Binghamton, New York. Carmichael dominated, and won, both motos, with Greg Albertyn (4/2) and Mike LaRocco (3/3) second and third overall on the day, respectively.

Carmichael has an insurmountable points lead over Sebastien Tortelli, and has secured the 2000 AMA 250 Outdoor National Motocross Championship with one round remaining.

In the 125 class, for the second round in a row, Travis Pastrana took victory in both motos, and the overall victory for the day. Pastrana now has a narrow, six point gap to make up on points leader Stephane Roncada, who finished second overall (3/2) while Kawasaki’s Tallon Vohland finished third overall (4/4).
