John Kocinski is still reportedly unsigned for 2001. Rumored to be in negotiations with the AMA’s Competition Accessories Ducati Superbike team, Kocinski could round out an amazing AMA Superbike line up.
Our article dated October 4, 2000 really says it all, but the thought of Kocinski, Gobert, and Scott Russell (now on a competitive bike) battling with last year’s front runners (Mladin, Hayden, Yates and Bostrom) is almost too much to bear. We hope Kocinski gets signed, and we can’t wait to see the first AMA Superbike race of 2001.
