With the larger displacement twin first seen in its GS model, BMW’s new R1150RT will have five more horsepower, significantly more torque, and a six speed transmission (rather than five). New wheels and switchgear are among other changes. The styling is clearly evolutionary rather than revolutionary, but the R1100RT was already a beautiful bike. Expect this bike to be available for sale in late Spring. We’ll provide more details when they are available.
