With the Kyalami, South Africa circuit visited by all of the top WSB teams for testing this week, three separate v-twins, from Honda, Ducati and Aprilia, have successively broken the lap record.
The v-twin formula of Honda and Aprilia, in their second and third year of WSB competition, respectively, continues to mature. It looks more and more like the 1000cc v-twins have an inherent advantage over the smaller capacity, 750cc fours.
