Kawasaki’s Ricky Carmichael continues to dominate the AMA 250 Supercross series. He devastated the field today in Daytona Beach, Florida to take his sixth straight victory and increase his championship points’ lead to 26 over Yamaha’s Jeremy McGrath (who finished sixth after a poor start).
The Hondas of Mike LaRocco and Ezra Lusk finished in second and third place, respectively.
In the 125 East Coast series, Suzuki’s Travis Pastrana took first place over Mike Brown (Kawasaki). Although Pastrana has three victories in the first four races, he and Mike Brown trail Yamaha’s Natham Ramsey by one point in the championship.
