Suzuki’s Mat Mladin continued his domination of the AMA Superbike championship by winning the first race (of a double header) at Road America today over second place Anthony Gobert (Yamaha). Gobert diced most of the race with Kurtis Roberts (Honda) and Jamie Hacking (Suzuki). Hacking took third, while Roberts crashed on the last lap and remounted and finished thirteenth.
Tomorrow is race two of the double header.
