Several reports indicate Troy Corser is less than happy with his Aprilia team following several lackluster performances in WSB. Starting the season on fire, Corser looked like a sure bet to contend for the title. Lately, however, he has been unhappy with the handling of his Aprilia. Specifically, he reports vibrations in the wheels. These mysterious vibrations are undetected by Aprilia’s telemetry devices, and there is some indication the team feels Corser is not making his best effort.
Indeed, Corser and his full-time teammate were both beaten by an Aprilia test rider during the last round. Corser needs a good result (or two) at Laguna Seca next weekend to turn things around. In the meantime, rumors are swirling in the Italian press that Corser will be replaced next year on the Aprilia WSB team.
