Suzuki’s Kevin Windham went 1/1 for the overall victory at the Washougal round of the AMA 250 National Motocross series today. In each moto, Windham caught and passed Kawasaki’s Ricky Carmichael for the lead, and then proceeded to pull away from Carmichael. Carmichael finished second in each moto. Carmichael maintains a healthy points lead in the championship.
In the 125 class, Mike Brown was a perfect 1/1 for the overall victory. KTM’s Grant Langston was second overall (2/3). Both Brown and Langston moved ahead of Suzuki’s Travis Pastrana in the championship points race. Pastrana had a horrible day, finishing 8/DNF (including a heavy crash in moto two — no word on his condition).
