Honda’s Colin Edwards beat Honda local Makoto Tamada in Race 1 of the WSB round held in Sugo, Japan earlier today, while Tamada came back and reversed the order (Tamada first and Edwards second) in Race 2.
The Sugo round broke the string of six straight victories by Ducati’s Troy Bayliss, who finished fifth in Race 1 and fourth in Race 2. Bayliss retains the championship series points lead after four rounds.
