With the introduction of the V-Rod earlier this year, Harley Davidson made one giant leap into the world of liquid-cooled motorcycles. With its 11-second quarter mile times, the V-Rod is no ordinary cruiser, and its 1100cc V-twin is no ordinary cruiser motor.
Rumors abound that Harley developed this expensive new engine with several models in mind (not just the V-Rod), a couple of which should show up this Fall with the announcement of the 2003 Harley line-up.
