Honda’s Nicky Hayden had a close battle with pole sitter Eric Bostrom (Kawasaki) at Brainerd International Raceway today in Round 11 of the AMA Superbike series. Hayden came out on top roughly one second ahead of Bostrom, with Doug Chandler (HMC Ducati) finishing third.
Kurtis Roberts (Honda) came back from injury to finish fifth behind Miguel Duhamel (Honda).
Hayden still has a large lead over Bostrom in the series championship going into the next round at Laguna Seca. Check out the AMA Pro Racing site for official results and points.
