After narrowly defeating Honda’s Nicky Hayden yesterday in the opening race of the Mid Ohio AMA Superbike doubleheader, Kawasaki’s Eric Bostrom finished second to Hayden today. Hayden was able to improve his set-up and tire choice, overnight, and had little trouble pulling away from Bostrom before a red flag restarted the race with 13 laps left. Bostrom grabbed the lead early in the second leg of the race, but Hayden reeled him in, and ultimately won with a comfortable margin. Hayden still has a huge points lead over Bostrom in the championship race. Take a look at AMA Pro Racing.com for further details and points.
