Round 15 of the AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike championship went to Honda’s Nicky Hayden today along with the series championship. Tomorrow is the final round of the year, also held at Virginia International Raceway. Hayden was able to win despite riding conservatively when several other factory riders left the race with crashes or mechanical problems, including Kawasaki’s Eric Bostrom.
