Tired of all the Valentino Rossi reruns? Looking for some excitement from MotoGP? Well, we cannot guarantee anything, but Daijiro Kato is getting his own Rossi-spec V5 four-stroke from Honda to ride at Brno in the next round of the MotoGP championship.
With a 250 championship under his belt, Kato has looked very good on a 500 in his rookie year. He also won the Suzuka 8 Hours race last weekend on a four-stroke Honda with teammate Colin Edwards. Basically, Kato is a fantastic rider who could add some much needed excitement to the MotoGP series currently dominated by World champion Valentino Rossi. Let’s hope so.
