Triumph, by all accounts, was scheduled to introduce its new, sportier, TT600R at Intermot next week, but the fire at Triumph’s factory four months ago makes this less certain. These are photos of a mock up of the bodywork of the new machine.
Apparently, Triumph will keep the old 600 in its line-up as an “all-arounder”, and focus the newer machine on the hard-core sportbike enthusiast, including supersport racers.
Without details emerging, the bike is expected to be lighter, more powerful, and ergonomically more focused on racing than streetbike riding. We will see shortly whether Triumph has been able to go forward with its planned introduction at Intermot despite the factory fire.
