Without surprising too many observers, Ducati’s Neil Hodgson won both races today at Valencia — the opening round of the WSB championship. Teammate Ruben Xaus followed Hodgson home in both races, with Chris Walker (Ducati) third in Race 1 and James Toseland (Ducati) third in Race 2.
The Foggy PETRONAS team had a difficult debut, with Troy Corser’s 7th place finish in Race 2 the best it could muster. Nevertheless, FPR remains positive after a debut round in which Corser qualified on the front row.
