Yamaha’s Chad Reed won his second AMA 250 supercross main event in a row this evening in Houston, Texas ahead of the Honda factory bikes ridden by Ricky Carmichael and Ernesto Fonseca. Reed and Carmichael both had bad starts, but easily reached the front of the pack before the checkered flag.
In the 125 East Region main event, Brock Sellards (Yamaha) finished first ahead of teammate Ivan Tedesco and third place Brett Metcalfe (KTM).
Reed has reduced Carmichael’s championship points lead to 19 with four rounds remaining, while Branden Jesseman (Suzuki) leads the points in the Eastern Region 125 class. For additional details, results and points, visit the official Supercross GP web site here.
