Eric Bostrom Leads Mat Mladin Shortly After The Restart
Mat Mladin and his Yoshimura Suzuki completed a sweep of the California Speedway AMA Superbike double header with another victory today. Although not quite as dominate as his performance yesterday, after a red flag restart of the race erased a deficit created by Mladin’s stop-and-go penalty (resulting from jumping the start), Mladin was able to take the lead from Kawasaki’s Eric Bostrom and pull away to victory.
Eric Bostrom finished second, while Honda’s Miguel Duhamel finished third (after a penalty assessed against Kurtis Roberts moved him out of the podium position).
With his victory today, Mladin takes the series points lead.
