You might think Mat Mladin would be a little bit “spooked” after his rear tire exploded at well over 100 mph yesterday, but he came right back to win the second half of the Road Atlanta superbike double-header today. Finishing second was Kawasaki’s Eric Bostrom, with Honda’s Kurtis Roberts third.
Mladin and his teammate Aaron Yates are in a virtual dead heat for the championship series points lead (Yates leads Mladin by two points) after seven rounds. Take a look at the AMA Superbike web site here for additional details, points and results.
