The Hondas of Ricky Carmichael and Kevin Windham again waged close battle at Round 10 of the AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Motocross Series near Binghamton, New York. Windham won the first moto over Carmichael, while Carmichael took the second moto with Windham a short way back in second place. Carmichael takes the overall on the day, with Windham second and Tim Ferry (Yamaha) third.
In the 125 class, Bubba Stewart (Kawasaki) continued to dominate today . . . winning both motos by large margins. Kelly Smith (Yamaha) finished second overall, with Ryan Hughes (KTM) third overall. Hughes gains some ground on KTM teammate Grant Langston in the championship series points battle, now trailing Langston by just 10 points with two roiunds remaining.
Carmichael still has a large points cushion in the 250 class, and could wrap up the title one round early. For additional details, results and points, visit the official AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Motocross series web site here
