Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin took his tenth win of the season today at Virginia International Raceway in the first of two superbike races this weekend. Early leader Kurtis Roberts (Honda) retired with tire problems, and Mladin cruised to a relatively comfortable victory over the Hondas of Miguel Duhamel and Ben Bostrom, finishing second and third, respectively. With three races remaining, Mladin has a large lead in the championship series (43 points over second place teammate Aaron Yates).
