Ricky Carmichael (Honda) won the overall with 1/1 moto scores today at Steel City, and clinched the AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Motocross championship in the 250cc class with one round remaining. Finishing second in both motos, and second on the day, was Kevin Windham (Honda) with Tim Ferry (Yamaha) third overall.
In the 125cc class, James Stewart (Kawasaki) again dominated both motos and took the overall win. With just one round remaining, KTM teammates Grant Langston and Ryan Hughes are just seven points apart (with Langston leading the championship).
