In the wake of our discussion with readers regarding which rider might receive the “Rossi treatment” from Honda in 2004 (see here and here), Honda is indicating that all of its MotoGP riders will receive equally fresh, updated parts during the 2004 MotoGP season, according to Max Biaggi. This appears to be a new strategy for Honda which has traditionally favored its star riders (such as Valentino Rossi and Mick Doohan) with exclusive access to the latest parts and engine developments.
