Do you remember the Jeremy McGrath era in supercross? McGrath would get a good start and check out early. After two laps, there was no race for first place. The only interesting things happening on the track were happening a hundred yards, or so, behind McGrath.
These thoughts came to mind last evening while I sat in Anaheim Stadium in Southern California watching Chad Reed completely out-class the other riders in the 250cc supercross main event. After winning the final six supercross races last year, Reed appears to be on a completely different level, now, and it looks like he could literally win every single race this year, with a little luck.
