James Toseland (Ducati) won race 1 of the opening round of the WSB championship at Valencia earlier today, while several of the top riders crashed out on a wet track. Pierfrancisco Chili (Ducati) and Chris Walker (Petronas) finished second and third, respectively.
In race 2, Noriyuki Haga (Ducati) announced he was back in WSB to run at the front by taking the race win over a second place Toseland, and third place Steve Martin (Ducati).
