Although we will not be covering the MX1 and MX2 World championships here on MD, we will make comments regarding significant developments. KTM debuted its 250cc four-stroke in the MX2 category at Zolder this weekend (MX2 combines 250cc four-strokes and 125cc two-strokes). The results were a stunning success for KTM, taking both moto wins with their two riders, Marc De Reuver and Ben Townley. Townley left Zolder with the championship points lead in MX2.
The KTM 250cc four-stroke motocross machine will be a production model for 2005. Expect to see it revealed at the Fall motorcycle shows this year.
