Sete Gibernau (Honda) won the Le Mans MotoGP race today — his second MotoGP victory in a row (this one in dry weather). Finishing second to Gibernau was Carlos Checa (Yamaha), with Max Biaggi (Honda) third. Biaggi and Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) had a close battle, but Rossi ultimately could not keep pace with Biaggi, finishing fourth.
