Regis Laconi (Ducati) had a perfect outing at Monza today, winning both races of the WSB round. Following a disqualification of Chris Vermeulen (Honda) in race two, the podium results for both races were identical. James Toseland and Garry McCoy were credited with second and third place in both races, both riding Ducatis. Toseland and McCoy had nominally finished third and fourth in race two, before Vermeulen was stripped of second place. His Honda failed a tech inspection by the FIM after the race.
Laconi takes the points lead in the WSB championship series. For additional details, results and points, visit the official WSB site here.
