Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi won a close battle over Sete Gibernau (Honda) today at the MotoGP of Catalunya, Spain. Rossi and Gibernau pulled out to a comfortable gap over third place fairly early in the contest, and battled all the way to the finish. Taking third place was Marco Melandri (Yamaha).
