Ricky Carmichael (Honda) continued his successful, and now predictable, romp through the AMA 250 National Motocross series with another two moto wins today in Buchanan, Michigan. Kevin Windham (Honda) and Chad Reed (Yamaha) swapped positions on the podium in the two motos, with Windham finishing 3/2 and Reed 2/3 on the day.
In the 125 class, the big story was the failure of James Stewart (Kawasaki) to win both motos. After winning the first moto handily, Stewart had a series of crashes, which eventually resulted in his retirement from the second moto. Mike Brown (Yamaha) took the overall win with a second place in Moto 1 and a victory in Moto 2. Davi Millsaps (Suzuki) finished second overall (4/4), with Josh Grant (Honda) third overall with an 8/2.
