Chris Vermeulen (Honda) won both WSB races held at Laguna Seca, California today. Vermeulen was very impressive in both races.
Different riders filled out the podium with Vermeulen in the two races. In race one, James Toseland and Regis Laconi (both aboard Ducatis) finished second and third, respectively, while Pierfrancesco Chili and Steve Martin (also aboard Ducatis) took the second and third positions in race two.
