Noriyuki Haga (Ducati) rode to victory in both of today’s WSB races at Brands Hatch in England. He came out on top of a race-long battle with Regis Laconi (Ducati) in race one, and barely beat Pier-Francesco Chili (Ducati) in race two.
Steve Martin (Ducati) took third in race one, while third place in race two went to Honda’s Chris Vermeulen. Championship points leader Laconi crashed out of race two, cutting his points lead to 2 points over second place Vermeulen (Laconi 218, Vermeulen 216). Haga and James Toseland (Ducati) are still in the championship hunt as well, with Haga currently third with 212 points, followed closely by Toseland’s 210 points.
