Another rumor floating around is that Kawasaki will introduce a revised Kawasaki ZRX1200R displacing approximately 1300cc for the 2005 model year. If this happens, expect the chassis and styling to get some tweaks, as well.

The reason for the displacement boost would be the need to compete with Japanese rivals displacing 1300cc, particularly in Europe.
