Valentino Rossi rode his Yamaha to a dominant victory at today’s Portuguese GP in Estoril, beating out second-place Makoto Tamada (Honda) by over 5 seconds.

Alex Barros (Honda) took third place over title contender Sete Gibernau (Honda), helping Rossi extend his lead in the championship points race.
