Husqvarna has announced changes to their off-road, MX and supermoto lineups for 2005. Here is the info on changes to all models from Husqvarna’s press release:

Engine Changes for 2005

Larger Diameter Titanium Valve Stems – Improved Strength and Valve Seating
Metal Head Gasket – Improved Cooling
Revised Back-up Kick Starter System – Improved Strength (optional equipment on motocross models)
Stronger Generator on Enduro Models – Improved Power Output
Starter Clutch on 250
CNC Hard Annodized Aluminium Clutch Basket on 450 – Improved Strength
450 Engine Has New Rebalanced Crankshaft with Larger Diameter Wrist Pin, New Roller Bearings, and New Connecting Rod – Improved Strength and Less Vibration
Polished Camshaft on 250
Keihin Carburettor with Redesigned Intakes – Hot/Cold Double Choke System with “Hot Start” Button
New Intake Cams on 250 and TC 450/510 – Improved Torque
Lighter Crankshaft on TC 250 – Improved Throttle Response
Smaller Crankshaft Bearings on TE and TC 250
New Intake Duct on TE 250 (same as TC ’04) – Improved Air Flow

Revised Suspension Settings
Shock Absorbers with New Sealing Rings and Lighter Reservoir to Improve Efficiency
Lower Shock Linkage features a Roller Bearing and All Needle Bearings in the Rear Suspension are Longer on TE models

TE Models have Axles with Clip for Rapid Removal
TC Models feature 240mm diameter Rear Disc Brake and Smaller Brembo Caliper
