James Toseland (Ducati) clinched the WSB Championship today at Magny Cours with a win in race one and second in race two. His closest competitor, teammate Regis Laconi, took third in both races, coming up nine points short in his bid for the championship.
Noriyuki Haga’s Renegade Ducati battled with the factory bikes of Toseland and Laconi in both races, with Haga finishing a close second in race one, and coming back to take the win in race two.
