One way to differentiate yourself from the competition is to design and manufacture a motorcycle with an engine configuration no one else offers. This is hard to do these days, with v-twins, inline three-cylinder machines. If the rumors are correct, however, Honda has some entirely new production machinery up its sleeve.
Will Honda manufacture motorcycles with v-5 engines? Mimicking its MotoGP weapon? Will it manufacture a v-3 engined bike? There are rumors to support both of these scenarios, and more.
Of course, for Honda, this was a relatively quiet year. Very few new models were introduced. Could this be the calm before the new product storm? We wouldn’t doubt it.
