Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) closed out an incredible season with a win at today’s Valencia MotoGP. Rossi battled with pole-sitter Makoto Tamada (Honda) for the first half of the race before pulling away after the halfway point.
Max Biaggi (Honda) and Troy Bayliss (Ducati) were able to pass Tamada to take second and third, respectively.
