Chad Reed (Yamaha) came from behind to win this evening’s AMA 250 supercross event in Pontiac, Michigan. Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) finished second, while Kevin Windham (Honda) finished third. James Stewart (Kawasaki) crashed early in the race and remounted to finish fourth.
Grant Langston (Kawasaki) was crowned champion of the 125 Eastern Region this evening while finishing in fourth position in the main event. Langston tied the evening’s race winner Joshua Hansen (KTM) on points for the series, but takes the championship as a result of having more race wins than Hansen. Finishing second and third were David Millsaps (Suzuki) and Joaquim Rodrigues (Honda), respectively.
Carmichael has a 28 point lead in the 250 division, with three rounds remaining. For additional details, results and points, visit the official World Supercross GP site here.
