Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin dominated today’s AMA Superbike race at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Mladin’s teammate Aaron Yates took second, and Ben Spies (Suzuki) was third to complete Suzuki’s podium sweep. Former British and World Superbike Champion Neil Hodgson (Ducati) was fourth.
After two rounds, Mladin leads the Superbike championship race with 76 points. Aaron Yates and Neil Hodgson are tied for second, both with 59 points.
